Qi gong is an ancient practice aligning breath, movement, and awareness, for exercise, healing, and martial arts training. It is a deep energy practice circulating the Qi and connecting us from the gross to the subtle. Qigong philosophy has roots in the I Ching, Taoism, Buddhist schools of thought, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Classical Five Elements. Some of these concepts will be woven through the classes, but I will also supplement Blog entries on the philosophy for those who wish to go deeper into the philosophy of the practice.
